In downtown Edmonds, Washington there is an enormous ancient camellia that is taller than a building and it must be 100 years old. The blossoms just cover the tree in the springtime. There are so many flowers it looks like a gushing river of blooms!
"Camellia Cascade" was accepted into the Northwest Watercolor Society's Waterworks Juried Exhibition at Tsuga Art Gallery. This highly competitive show features some of the best watercolor artists in the U.S. and internationally. I am hugely honored to have my painting included.
